The fair of floriculture, flavors, and well-being of Marsciano
The Green Fair - Traditions and Flavors is the event that animates the historic center of Marsciano, in the province of Perugia, every spring. Promoted by the Municipality of Marsciano, the fair embraces the floriculture sector with exhibitions of plants, flowers, and gardening equipment, alongside local agricultural and artisanal products, and food and wine, as well as a biological products showcase.
The program intertwines three themes: greenery, with floricultural exhibitions and practical demonstrations (pruning, candle making); flavors, with tastings of extra virgin olive oil and typical local products; and well-being, with activities such as yoga, postural dance, and mindfulness hosted in various city spaces.
There are also attractions for families, from themed workshops and technical meetings in the fair's gazebo to the smallest mini ponies in Italy. The fair involves the main agricultural organizations of the area - Cia, Confagricoltura, Confesercenti, and Coldiretti - confirming its deep roots in Umbria's rural world.
The Green Fair represents a showcase of the agricultural and environmental vocation of Marsciano and the entire Middle Tiber Valley, successfully combining local economy, green culture, and quality of life in a spring weekend.
