About Gragnano Fair

The Gragnano Fair, historically known as the Madonna delle Grazie Fair, is the most anticipated autumn event in town. Every year on November 21st, the city streets come alive with stalls, scents, and crowds in a grand popular celebration. Originally an ancient livestock market rooted in devotion to the Madonna delle Grazie, it now showcases local excellence with around 300 exhibitors, a dedicated zero-km produce area, and the return of Coldiretti. It is a defining ritual that blends commerce, tradition, and community in the heart of the city of pasta.

The Gragnano Fair: An Autumn Ritual

Every year on November 21st, Gragnano transforms into a vast open-air market. The Gragnano Fair, historically known as the Madonna delle Grazie Fair, is the town's most awaited autumn event: a deeply rooted tradition that has been celebrated for generations, drawing thousands of visitors from the Monti Lattari area and the entire Metropolitan City of Naples.

Origins: The Livestock Market

The roots of this event run deep. In the past, the fair lasted an entire week and was known as a livestock market: cows, pigs, horses, and mules were traded along the streets, alongside local agricultural products, including the famous Gragnano pasta and local wine. Linked to the popular devotion to the Madonna delle Grazie, whose image was venerated in the city, the fair has evolved over the centuries from a rural gathering into a showcase for local excellence.

Around 300 Exhibitors and Zero-km Products

Today, the Fair features around 300 exhibitors animating the main streets of the center: via Vittorio Veneto, via Tommaso Sorrentino, piazzale Amendola, via G. Della Rocca, part of via Roma, via Pasquale Nastro, and piazza Aubry. It is an engaging journey through stalls of all kinds, from crafts and clothing to the essential food stands. A significant part of the event is dedicated to zero-km products, with an area reserved for local farms and Coldiretti stands, which have returned to Gragnano after several years.

The Taste of the Territory

Gragnano is universally known as the city of pasta: the Fair is the perfect opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of the Campania tradition, from historic pasta shapes to the wines of the Monti Lattari, as well as typical products and preserves from small local producers. A culinary journey that tells the story of the food and wine identity of this corner of Campania.

Municipality of Gragnano and Metropolitan City of Naples

Organized by the Municipality of Gragnano, the Fair is much more than a commercial event: it is a community celebration that reaffirms the bond between the city, its history, and its traditions. For the occasion, the municipal administration prepares a specific traffic and safety plan each year, including road closures and traffic diversions in the center. An unmissable event for those who want to experience the authentic soul of Gragnano in the heart of Campania.

Gragnano Fair — edition 2026

The Gragnano Fair returns, as is tradition, on November 21, 2026, in the city center. The historic Madonna delle Grazie fair will enliven the main streets of the town with hundreds of stalls, an area dedicated to zero-km products, and stands from local agricultural businesses. The detailed program and schedule will be announced by the Municipality of Gragnano in the weeks leading up to the event.

The 2026 edition of the Gragnano Fair is expected, as every year, on November 21st, the day dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie. The event will confirm its role as a grand popular celebration and a showcase for local excellence in the heart of the Metropolitan City of Naples.

Programme Gragnano Fair 2026

The detailed program for the 2026 edition has not yet been released by the Municipality of Gragnano.
