The Gira Cicchetti Music River Festival is a travelling food and wine festival held in Torre di Mosto, a municipality in the province of Venice crossed by the Livenza River, in the Basso Piave area. It takes place in early June, often coinciding with the Cherry Market Exhibition, and offers a tour through the town's establishments to discover cicchetti, the traditional Venetian appetizers.
A Tour of Trattorias and Local Wines
The heart of the festival is the tasting itinerary across four tasting points, where each venue offers a cicchetto paired with a local wine: from sardines in saor with Tai IGP delle Venezie to crostini with stracchino, from cod meatballs to coffee with Merlot Venezia DOC, to tuna meatballs with Lison Classico DOCG. Tastings are available in two time slots, midday and evening.
Live Music and Sustainable Mobility
Between stops, the event is accompanied by live music, DJ sets, and acoustic jam sessions. The format enhances the connection with the river: participants can travel by electric boat and pedal-assisted bicycles, experiencing the Livenza's river landscape sustainably.

Organized by the association Livenzakmzero, the Gira Cicchetti combines food and wine, music, and slow tourism in an event that showcases the territory of Torre di Mosto and the Livenza River, in the province of Venice, far from mass tourist circuits.

The Gira Cicchetti Music River Festival returns to Torre di Mosto in early June 2026, coinciding with the cherry season. Following the usual pattern, the Livenzakmzero association will again offer the tasting itinerary of Venetian cicchetti paired with local wines, with live music, DJ sets, and jam sessions along the Livenza River.
