Two days of engines, drifting, and adrenaline in the industrial area of Ozegna
Free Drift is an event dedicated to motor enthusiasts that transforms the industrial area of Ozegna, a small town in the Canavese region near Turin, into an open-air stage for adrenaline and spectacle. For two days, the space fills with the roar of engines, the scent of burnt rubber, and clouds of smoke: the stars of the show are drift cars, rally vehicles, and prototypes, all participating in free-form, non-competitive exhibitions.
The Free Drift formula is strictly non-competitive: the goal is not racing or rankings, but pure fun and a shared passion for motors. Drivers and their machines take turns on the track, treating the audience to drifts, counter-steering, and extreme lines in an informal, festive atmosphere that prioritizes entertainment over competition.
The program revolves around three main pillars of the motoring world:
To make the experience more comfortable, Free Drift provides a taxi service for participants moving within the area. On the culinary front, the food court is managed by the Le Giuggiole farm, offering street food and sandwiches for those wanting to grab a bite between exhibitions. The event is held with the patronage of the Municipality of Ozegna, confirming the strong bond between the event and the local Canavese territory.
Ozegna is a small village in the Canavese plains of Piedmont, known for its castle and rural traditions. Events like Free Drift bring a young, passionate crowd to this corner of the province, enlivening the town's industrial zone and offering a great opportunity to gather around car culture.
