When spring arrives, the streets of the historic center of Fossano, in the province of Cuneo, fill with the roar of engines and the energy of thousands of enthusiasts. The Spring Motorcycle Rally, organized by the Motoclub Fossano in collaboration with the Italian Motorcycle Federation, is one of the most long-standing and deeply rooted motorcycling events in Piedmont: a popular festival that for over forty years has combined a passion for two-wheelers with the discovery of one of the most beautiful art cities in the Cuneo area.
An event within the city walls
For an entire weekend, the heart of Fossano transforms into a large village dedicated to the world of motorcycles. Between Piazza Diaz, Viale Alpi, and Via Roma, over 150 stands from motorcycle manufacturers and leading clothing and accessory companies are set up, while Via Roma hosts the historic Swap Meet dedicated to vintage motorcycles, cars, and spare parts, accompanied by an artisan craft market. There is no shortage of freestyle performances, music, entertainment, and exhibitions of the "old glories" that have made motorcycle history.
Tradition, safety, and solidarity
The symbolic heart of the event is the traditional blessing of the motorcycles on Sunday, with the spectacular charge of the bikers and the famous 58 seconds of noise in tribute to Marco Simoncelli. In recent years, the rally has also focused on road safety, with certified safe-riding courses and dedicated conferences. It is an event that, alongside the fun, knows how to cultivate the values of the motorcycling community and attention to the city that hosts it.
Fossano beyond the rally
The rally is also an opportunity to discover Fossano, with its imposing Acaja Castle and the evocative porticoes of the historic center. Guided tours of the city's monuments often accompany the program, making the weekend an experience that combines a passion for motors with the culture of the Piedmontese territory.
Spring Motorcycle Rally — edition 2026
The 43rd edition of the Spring Motorcycle Rally represented a historic moment for Fossano: for the first time, the event received International status from the Italian Motorcycle Federation, a recognition of a formula capable of attracting thousands of motorcyclists every year. The chosen theme, "Safety First," guided a rich program that opened on Friday, March 20, with FMI-certified advanced safe-riding courses and a conference on road safety.
Between Piazza Diaz, Viale Alpi, and Via Roma, over 150 stands were set up, along with the Swap Meet for vintage motorcycles, cars, and spare parts, and the Food Park with food, beer, and music. Among the new features, the RR 44 Roby Rolfo riding school offered track sessions with professional riders.

Friday, March 20 — Pre-events
- FMI-certified advanced safe-riding courses
- Road safety conference
Saturday, March 21
- From 9:00 AM — Opening of manufacturer stands and Food Park in Piazza Diaz
- Swap Meet for vintage motorcycles, cars, and spare parts in Via Roma and artisan craft market
- Demonstration sessions by the RR 44 Roby Rolfo riding school with professional riders, Honda demo rides, and KTM mini-bike experiences
- 3:30 PM — Official opening in Via Roma in front of the Town Hall
- Followed by — Commemorative parade to the Motorcyclist Monument in Cussanio with the 4th Memorial dedicated to Graziella Botta, Marco Sperandio, and 'PiGi' Dutto
- Evening — Motorcycle Rally Party with food and music
Sunday, March 22
- Freestyle performances and demonstration activities
- 11:30 AM — Bikers' Holy Mass with the traditional blessing of the motorcycles
- The famous 58 seconds of noise in tribute to Marco Simoncelli
- Food Park open until 7:00 PM

Where
The Motorcycle Rally takes place in the center of Fossano (CN), between Piazza Diaz, Viale Alpi, and Via Roma.
How to get there
Fossano is easily accessible from the A6 Turin-Savona motorway (Fossano exit) and the regional railway network. During the rally, the center is partially closed to traffic: it is recommended to follow the signs for dedicated parking areas.

Admission to the event is free. Optional registration is available for bikers, which entitles them to gadgets and other benefits.
