How to get there
By car: reach Formazza by driving up the valley from the Ossola area (from Domodossola towards Crodoossola towards Crodo - Premia - Formazza). The village of Valdo is the main one on the valley floor. A car is recommended for mountain travel; during the summer months, scheduled bus connections to the valley are available.
