Sapori d'Italia in Piazza is the travelling market that, at the end of May, brings typical food, wine, and craft products from various Italian regions to Cittadella, the walled city in the province of Padua. The stalls are set up along the streets of the centre and in Piazza Pierobon, within the evocative setting of the medieval walls.
A Region in the Spotlight
Each edition showcases the flavours of a specific territory: in 2026, the spotlight is on Sicily, with its gastronomic specialities and artisan products. It's an opportunity to shop for typical products and taste Italian excellences without leaving Cittadella.
Vintage Cars in the Centre
The event is accompanied by a gathering of vintage Fiat 500s: on Sundays, the procession of historic cars reaches the centre of Cittadella, adding a touch of nostalgia and colour to the festival. A weekend that combines taste, craftsmanship, and a passion for historic cars in the heart of the Veneto region.
Flavours of Italy in the Square — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Sapori d'Italia in Piazza takes place in Cittadella on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May. The market stalls, dedicated to typical products from Sicily, will liven up the streets of the centre and Piazza Pierobon. On Sunday 31 May, a gathering of vintage Fiat 500s is also scheduled.
