Flowers, wild herbs, taste, and sustainability on the Ligurian Riviera
When spring is in full swing, Alassio (Province of Savona) dresses up in flowers for Flauer, the event that celebrates the world of flowers, wild herbs, taste, and sustainability. For three days, the town on the Riviera di Ponente becomes, in the words of the organizers, "a flowery and vibrant city," with installations, scents, and colors that invade the center and the waterfront.
The program alternates between educational and practical moments: masterclasses dedicated to greenery and wild herbs, showcookings featuring local protagonists, talks, and outdoor experiences designed to bring the public closer to a more sustainable culture of food and nature. The heart of the events is concentrated between Piazza Partigiani and Porto Luca Ferrari, while the new "Flauer Power" brings music and shows to the Passeggiata Dino Grollero.
Recently established but already one of the flagship events of the western Ligurian Riviera, Flauer focuses on a balance between lightness and substance: the pleasure of strolling among the flowers combines with reflection on environmental sustainability and the valorization of wild herbs and products from the area. Free admission makes it an event open to families, enthusiasts, and the curious.
The 2nd edition of Flauer transforms Alassio into a flowery city from April 24th to 26th, 2026. The event, dedicated to flowers, wild herbs, taste, and sustainability, offers masterclasses, showcookings, and outdoor experiences between Piazza Partigiani and Porto Luca Ferrari. One of the novelties is Flauer Power, an entertainment format with music and shows on the Passeggiata Dino Grollero.
Preview reserved for the press.
