The FIS Ski Cross World Cup 3 Zinnen Dolomites is the most anticipated winter event in San Candido/Innichen, a town in the Alta Pusteria valley in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige. Every December, this Dolomite resort hosts a stage of the FIS ski cross World Cup, a discipline often dubbed the "Formula 1 of skiing": four athletes at a time launch themselves side-by-side down a course packed with jumps, bumps, banked turns, and technical sections, in an elimination race where speed and courage count equally.

The Baranci-Haunold Slope

The races are held on the steep Baranci-Haunold slope, the mountain that overlooks the town, with the track descending beneath the rocky cliffs to reach the outskirts of San Candido. It is considered one of the most technical and selective courses on the entire World Cup circuit, spanning approximately 1,340 meters with over 220 meters of vertical drop, designed to deliver spectacular overtakes and finishes that remain uncertain until the very last jump.

A Historic Venue on the Circuit

San Candido is one of the longest-standing and most beloved venues for the ski cross World Cup: the resort has hosted the discipline continuously since the 2009/2010 season, becoming a benchmark for athletes, coaches, and fans alike.
