First Concert Season – Gagliano Young Talents

A new festival for the young musicians of Gagliano

In 2026, the village of Gagliano Castelferrato, perched in the mountains of the Enna province in Sicily, launched its first Concert Season dedicated to Gagliano Young Talents. Announced in the spring of 2026, the initiative marks a significant debut for the town's cultural life: a showcase designed specifically for students of music and young instrumentalists taking their first steps on stage.

Organized by the Santa Cecilia Association

The festival is promoted by the Santa Cecilia Musical and Educational Association, a historic institution in Gagliano Castelferrato. Established as an association in 1987, it brings together around fifty instrumentalists and twenty young students attending music training courses around its brass band. The association's music school is the natural nursery from which this concert season was born: giving young people a stage to perform before their community is the best way to consolidate years of study and practice.

The festival was born with a clear vision: to promote Gagliano talents, the local youths who have chosen music as their language.
