The major rock festival in Florence at the Visarno Arena in Parco delle Cascine
Founded in 2017, Firenze Rocks has quickly established itself as the largest Italian rock festival and one of the most anticipated musical events of the European summer. The festival takes place at the Visarno Arena, the vast open space within the Parco delle Cascine, the main urban park in Florence, the capital of Tuscany. Here, for several consecutive days, major international rock and pop stars share the stage with numerous Italian artists and emerging names from the scene.
The strength of Firenze Rocks lies in the quality of its headliners: over the years, the Visarno Arena has hosted legends such as Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Green Day, Metallica, Eddie Vedder, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many others. Each day is built around a world-class headliner, preceded by various supporting acts and soloists, in a program that spans the entire afternoon and evening until late at night.
Firenze Rocks is more than just a musical event: during the festival, the city of Florence, in the Province of Florence, fills with fans from all over Italy and abroad. Hotels, restaurants, and local venues in the city center experience a surge in visitors, while the Parco delle Cascine becomes the beating heart of the national rock scene. For fans, it is a unique opportunity to see artists live who often only make one stop in Italy.
A daily ticket grants access to all concerts scheduled for that date, from the first opening act to the evening's headliner. Multi-day passes, VIP packages, and Fast Lane entries are available. Presale is managed by the main national circuits (Ticketmaster, TicketOne, Vivaticket).
The 2026 edition of Firenze Rocks took place from June 12 to 14 at the Visarno Arena in Florence, confirming the winning formula of three evenings with major international headliners. On Friday, June 12, the stage belonged to Lenny Kravitz, preceded by Salmo and several opening artists; Saturday, June 13, featured Robbie Williams; Sunday, June 14, saw the grand finale with The Cure, accompanied on stage by prestigious names from the British alternative scene. Three days that drew tens of thousands of spectators to Florence.
Gate opening times and stage schedules varied from day to day; the daily ticket granted access to all concerts on the chosen date.
The three evenings were dominated by international headliners: Lenny Kravitz on June 12, Robbie Williams on June 13, and The Cure on June 14, with the latter accompanied by Mogwai. Among the Italian artists, Salmo stood out.

By tram: Line T1 (stop "Cascine" / "Carlo Monni") and Line T2 (stop "San Donato Università "), with extended service until late at night on concert evenings. By bus: Enhanced lines 17, 55, and 57. By car: We recommend using the park-and-ride facilities at Villa Costanza, Guidoni, San Donato, Palazzo di Giustizia, and Porta al Prato-Leopolda, then continuing by tram. By train: Florence Santa Maria Novella station, then take the tram or bus.
Access to the area is through multiple gates with security checks. Inside, the food and beverage system is cashless (payments via app, QR code, and cards). We recommend arriving well in advance and using public transport, as the Parco delle Cascine is closed to traffic during event days.
