Author craftsmanship and independent design on Riccione's canal port
After the appreciated Easter edition, Fièra – The Art of Making returns to Riccione's canal port with an event designed to welcome the start of the warmer season. The event takes place in the Municipality of Riccione, in the Province of Rimini, the heart of the Romagna Riviera, and transforms the bridge over the canal port into an exhibition path dedicated to contemporary creativity. For this edition, the route also extends along Viale Dante, at numbers 74 and 75, expanding the walk dedicated to beauty and ingenuity.
Fièra is not a typical market: it is conceived as a true inspirational walk, an experience to be savored. Along the route, you will meet independent artisans and designers, rigorously selected for the quality of their projects and the originality of their proposals. Visitors can discover unique pieces and conscious productions among artistic craftsmanship, illustration, and independent design, with a particular focus on proposals related to ethical fashion.
The underlying idea is to restore centrality to the time of creation: each object tells a story, made of care, research, and identity. Those who visit Fièra have the opportunity to interact directly with the creators, hear about their journey, and rediscover the value of manual work, far from the logic of mass production.
The charm of the event also stems from its location: the canal port of Riccione, where water accompanies the walk, making the experience even slower and more immersive. It is a particularly evocative corner of the city during the summer months, when the Riviera comes alive and Riccione becomes one of the iconic destinations for seaside tourism in Emilia-Romagna.
The initiative is promoted by the Viale Ceccarini Area Consortium in collaboration with the Promoalba Committee, with the patronage of the Municipality of Riccione. The event is part of a calendar of initiatives that the consortium dedicates to the enhancement of the city center and its seafront.
For the summer 2026 edition, Fièra – The Art of Making took place on June 1st and 2nd on the bridge of Riccione's canal port, extending for the first time along Viale Dante, at numbers 74 and 75. Public opening hours were Monday, June 1st from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM and Tuesday, June 2nd from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM, coinciding with Republic Day.
