A historic fair in the heart of Lessinia
The Fiera Agricola e Festa Patronale di Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo is one of the oldest and most cherished events in Lessinia, the mountain plateau in the province of Verona. Every year, at the end of July, the village celebrates its patron saint, Saint Anne (July 26th), with six days of festivities that blend agricultural tradition, religious devotion, and popular entertainment.
The agricultural soul and the Haflinger horses
The core of the event remains tied to mountain agriculture: the market of typical products, the exhibition of agricultural machinery, and the picturesque Haflinger horse show, a breed symbolic of the alpine valleys. There are also conferences dedicated to the territory and agriculture, photographic exhibitions, and activities for children. The festival is organized by the Pro Loco Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo.
Music, shows, and mountain flavors
The evenings come alive with concerts, DJ sets, laser light shows, tribute bands, and live music performances in the village squares. The food stalls offer traditional Lessinia dishes, especially the gnocchi della Lessinia (Lessinia gnocchi) and risotto al tastasal, accompanied by Veronese wines. The fair concludes with traditional fireworks.

The 2026 edition, the 162nd, brings life to Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo from July 26 to 31. Six days of festivities in the heart of Lessinia, blending faith, agricultural tradition, and entertainment: from the Mass of Saint Anne to conferences, from the market of typical products to the Haflinger horse show, through to concerts, laser shows, and the unmissable Lessinia gnocchi. Food stalls open Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Sunday for lunch (12:00 PM–2:30 PM) and dinner (6:00 PM–9:30 PM).

Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo is located on the Lessinia plateau, reachable by car from Verona along the SP12 della Lessinia (about 35 km). It is not served by train; the nearest airport is Verona Villafranca.
