The Fiera di Sant'Anna in Filignano, in the province of Isernia, is a traditional fair held at the end of July, around the 25th and 26th of the month. It is part of those ancient village fairs that have marked the calendar of seasons and community life in the villages of upper Molise for generations.
Market and local products
The fair combines a devotional aspect—linked to the figure of Saint Anne—with commercial and popular elements: stalls, agricultural and artisanal products, entertainment, and meeting points for the inhabitants of the town and nearby centers. Traditionally, the fair is held concurrently with the Fiera di San Pasquale Baylon, on the last weekend of July.
