Pegli's Summer Festival

The Fiera del Mare di Pegli is a regular fixture of the summer in the western part of Genoa. Pegli, an elegant seaside district, celebrates its traditional fair every last Sunday of July along the picturesque seafront, from the Giardini Peragallo up to Via Mulinetti.

Eighty Stalls on the Seafront

For the occasion, the seafront transforms into a long open-air market with about 85 stalls selling sweets, various goods, and traditional products. The fair is open from early morning until late evening, offering visitors a full day of strolling, shopping, and festive atmosphere with a sea view.

The Fireworks Display

The most anticipated moment is the final fireworks display, which lights up the sky above Pegli's sea around 11:15 PM. The fireworks, accompanied by sound effects, provide a spectacular finale to a day of celebration, with the crowd gathered along the promenade watching the show reflected on the water.

A Tradition That Continues

Organised by the Municipality of Genoa, the Fiera del Mare di Pegli renews an event deeply rooted in the neighbourhood's tradition every year. It's an opportunity to experience the seafront in a festive way and to discover one of the most characteristic locations on the Genoese coast.
