The taste of the eastern Veronese area in Soave

The Fiera del Gusto dell'Est Veronese is the food and wine showcase that every autumn brings together the excellences of the Pro Loco of the eastern Veronese area in Soave (Verona). Organised by the Consorzio Pro Loco Verona Est in Piazza Foro Boario, under a large covered structure, it offers the typical specialities of numerous municipalities in the area.

Specialities and tradition

On the table, you'll find Illasi oil, Soave wine, Pressana ham, gnocchi from Badia Calavena, polenta and hare, risotto, truffle lasagna, and artisanal cured meats, prepared by the participating Pro Loco associations. The event, which has welcomed over 6,000 visitors in recent editions, features food stalls, flag-waver performances, exhibitions of ancient crafts, and tastings.

A territory to savour

The fair is a journey through the flavours of the eastern Veronese area, from Soave to the Lessinia hills, in the heart of the Scaliger village of Soave.
