Chocolate meets Soave wine
Cioccolato in Festa is the event that transforms the medieval village of Soave, in the province of Verona, into the Veronese capital of chocolate every autumn. For a weekend, master chocolatiers liven up the historic centre with demonstrations and a wide range of pralines, chocolate bars, and creations, in a delicious pairing with the fine white wines of Soave, produced by local wineries.
Between Piazza Mercato dei Grani and the village streets
The heart of the festival is Piazza Mercato dei Grani, along Via Roma, where the stands are concentrated on Saturdays and Sundays. Here, the Pro Loco also offers risotto, gastronomic products, roasted chestnuts, sweets, strawberries and chocolate, spritz, and Soave wine. The chocolate stands are open on Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday, offering visitors a journey of taste amidst the medieval architecture of the village dominated by the Scaligero Castle.
A festival for everyone, with free entry
In addition to tastings, the programme includes concerts and children's entertainment, art exhibitions, and stalls with local products. Organised by the Pro Loco Soave with the patronage of the Municipality, the event has free entry and has established itself as one of the sweetest and most beloved autumn food and wine events in the Verona area, successfully combining the culture of chocolate with that of wine.

The 2026 edition of Cioccolato in Festa is expected in Soave on a weekend in October; the precise dates will be announced by Pro Loco Soave closer to the event (the reference edition takes place from Friday to Sunday, around the second weekend of the month).
