The Festa dell'Uva di Soave is one of the historic events of the Veneto region: conceived in 1929 by Dr. Zannini, then president of the Cantina Sociale di Soave, it is considered the oldest grape festival in Italy. Every year, in September, the medieval village of Soave (Verona) celebrates its wine identity around the Soave DOC and Recioto di Soave DOCG.

For a long weekend, the historic center, dominated by the Scaliger castle, comes alive with guided tastings, open wineries, sensory workshops, vineyard tours, and e-bike excursions through the hills. Food stalls offer risotto with Soave, cheeses, cured meats, and traditional desserts, while squares host music, folk dances, art exhibitions, and the evocative costume parade that recalls the medieval past of the village.
