The charity festival in the village of Fibbiana, featuring Tuscan cuisine and evening entertainment
The Fibbiana Peach Festival is one of the most cherished summer events in the village of Fibbiana, located in the municipality of Montelupo Fiorentino, in the province of Florence. For over twenty years, the residents of this small Tuscan hamlet have gathered in Piazza San Rocco to share a meal, enjoy evening entertainment, and, above all, support a common cause: the festival is a charity event, with all proceeds dedicated to the restoration of the artworks in the church of Fibbiana.
The heart of the event is the open-air dinner, served every evening starting at 8:00 PM in Piazza San Rocco. The menu features specialties of traditional Tuscan cuisine, prepared by the Circle's volunteers: hearty, genuine dishes designed to bring families together and accompany the evening's entertainment. Given the popularity of the event, dinner reservations are highly recommended and can be made directly at the Circle's bar.
The Peach Festival is more than just food: each evening offers a different program, ranging from live music to comedy shows, fashion parades, and magic performances. It is a popular, family-friendly program designed to engage all ages and keep the square lively until late at night with games, prizes, and festive moments.
The event is managed by the M.C.L. Pio XII Circle in collaboration with the S. Maria Parish of Fibbiana, thanks to the tireless work of local volunteers. This sense of community is what makes the Peach Festival a special event: a celebration that, while providing fun, raises essential funds for the preservation of the local church's heritage.
Fibbiana is a hamlet of Montelupo Fiorentino, a town known throughout Tuscany for its ancient tradition of artistic ceramics, situated in the Arno valley between Florence and Empoli. The festival takes place in the heart of the village, in Piazza San Rocco, which is easily accessible and immersed in the authentic atmosphere of a Tuscan hamlet.
For 2026, the Fibbiana Peach Festival reaches its 24th edition, confirming the two-weekend format in June. Once again, the village of Fibbiana in Montelupo Fiorentino comes alive in Piazza San Rocco with dinners featuring Tuscan specialties and an evening program designed for all tastes, from comedy to fashion, live music, and magic. The event maintains its charitable spirit, with all proceeds destined for the recovery of the parish's artistic heritage.
