The Flower of Winter of Castelfranco
The Festival of the Variegated Radicchio of Castelfranco Veneto IGP is dedicated to one of the most precious products of the Marca Trevigiana: the variegated radicchio, nicknamed the "Flower of Winter" for its rose-like shape and cream-white, green, and red marbled colors. The festival is held in the heart of the walled city, in the province of Treviso.
Producers, Exhibition, and Award Ceremony
The event is part of the Flowers of Winter series and revolves around the exhibition of producers and the award for the best Variegated Radicchio IGP, which takes place between the Clock Tower and the Cathedral. A dedicated exhibition, set up in the Municipal Council Hall, and guided tours of the historic center complete the product's valorization.
Tastings and Tradition
During the days of the festival, it is possible to taste radicchio-based dishes thanks to the collaboration of restaurateurs and the Protection Consortium. The festival is organized by the Pro Loco of Castelfranco Veneto together with the Consortium for Variegated Radicchio, in an event that combines gastronomy, culture, and local identity.

The 2026 edition of the Festival of the Variegated Radicchio of Castelfranco Veneto IGP confirms the December appointment in the heart of the walled city, as part of the Flowers of Winter event series promoted in the area. The festival returns to celebrate the "Flower of Winter" with an exhibition of producers and an award for the best radicchio.

How to get here
Castelfranco Veneto is reachable by train (lines from Venice, Padua, Treviso, and Bassano del Grappa) and by car from the SR53 Postumia. The festival takes place in the walled center, between Piazza Giorgione, Via Preti, and the Municipal Council Hall.
