The San Mauro Festival is the great autumn celebration of Castagnole, a hamlet of the Municipality of Paese, in the province of Treviso. It is organized by the Parish of San Mauro Martire and takes place in Via Casanova, in the very heart of the hamlet which also hosts other events like Fora Fase in the summer.
Heated gastronomic stand and many evenings
The heart of the festival is the heated gastronomic stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, with house specialties and a published menu. The evenings, starting from 9:00 PM, offer a varied program: live music, DJ sets, tribute bands, covers of cartoon theme songs, ballroom dancing and Latin American dancing, and themed evenings "90s-2000s Party".
Amusement park, lottery, and community
Adding to the festivities are the amusement park — with the Sunday promotion "2 tickets for the price of 1" from 2:00 PM — and the charity lottery in support of the parish. With over forty years of history, the San Mauro Festival is a deeply rooted event that attracts residents and visitors from the Treviso region throughout the month of November.
