The Festival of the Most Holy Redeemer is the great summer celebration of Altavilla Vicentina, a municipality in western Vicenza province. It takes place in July in Piazza Don Giuseppe De Munari and for several days transforms the town center into a meeting point for families, young people, and visitors.
Venetian cuisine takes center stage
The food stall is the heart of the event: every evening, starting at 7:15 PM, traditional Venetian dishes are served — bigoli pasta, gnocchi, cuttlefish and peas, fried fish, and grilled dishes — in a large equipped area. Alongside the food, there is a bar with cocktails and a charity raffle.
Music, funfair, and fireworks
The evenings are enlivened by musical performances on the main stage, the classic funfair, and fireworks that beautifully conclude the festival. Between Latin nights, DJ sets, and tribute bands, the program offers options for all ages.
A festival with a purpose
The proceeds from the festival are used to support the activities of the Altavilla-Valmarana Pastoral Unit, making the event also a moment of community solidarity. It is an example of the best tradition of Vicenza festivals, where conviviality, good food, and social commitment intertwine.

The Festival of the Most Holy Redeemer returns to Altavilla Vicentina in July 2026, in Piazza Don Giuseppe De Munari. The event, a regular fixture of the Vicenza summer, will again feature the food stall with traditional Venetian dishes, musical evenings, a funfair, and fireworks.
