Ravioli, focaccette and dancing on the heights of Sori
The Festival of Ravioli and Focaccette is the event that every May 1st fills the hamlet of Capreno, on the heights of Sori, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. A classic Ligurian hinterland village festival, dedicated to two symbolic traditional dishes: ravioli and focaccette.
The day is marked by the opening hours of the food stalls: they open at noon, while in the afternoon you can dance with the Giuse & Alessia Band. In the evening, the stalls reopen and the orchestra accompanies participants until late at night. Everything takes place under a large marquee, so the party continues even in case of rain.
Organized by the Società Ricreativa Sportiva Culturale Capreno, the festival is a gathering moment for the community and an opportunity for visitors to discover a little-known corner of the Sori hinterland. A free shuttle service is available for those arriving without a car from Pieve Ligure and Sori stations.
