The most heartfelt recurrence in the hamlet of Bassi, in Tribogna
The Festival of Our Lady of the Pilgrim is the most heartfelt recurrence in the hamlet of Bassi, in the municipality of Tribogna, in the Fontanabuona Valley, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. It is celebrated on May 19th, a fixed date dedicated to Our Lady of the Pilgrim.
The day combines religious moments with a convivial dimension, with refreshments and recreational activities that involve the community. Although the patron saint of the municipality is Saint Martin of Tours (celebrated on November 11th), it is the May festival in Bassi that is the most attended and identity-forming for the inhabitants of Tribogna.
Highlighted by the Municipality of Tribogna itself as the main event of the town, the festival is an opportunity to discover an authentic corner of the Genoese hinterland. The Fontanabuona Valley, with its villages and traditions, provides the backdrop for a recurrence that keeps alive the identity of a small valley community.
For 2026 too, the hamlet of Bassi renewed, on May 19th, the Festival of Our Lady of the Pilgrim. The date is fixed and marks the most heartfelt moment of the local calendar.
The day alternated religious celebrations with moments of conviviality, with refreshments and recreational activities for the community, in a setting of tradition and reflection typical of the villages of the Fontanabuona Valley.
