In Cernusco sul Naviglio, in the province of Milan, the Festival of Lombard Youth Orchestras is the winter event dedicated to great symphonic music performed by the new generations. The festival, hosted at the Casa delle Arti, brings together the youth orchestras of the main conservatories in Lombardy, offering young instrumentalists an opportunity for growth and the public a quality concert season.

Three Conservatories, Three Concerts

The festival is divided into three events, featuring the conservatories of Gallarate (Giacomo Puccini), Milan (Giuseppe Verdi), and Cremona (Claudio Monteverdi). Each concert presents a refined program, with pieces by Mozart, Weber, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky performed by the youth orchestras under the guidance of expert conductors. A format that enhances emerging talent while bringing the community closer to classical music.
