A festival to reconnect with neighbours

The Festa Incontrarsi e Divertirsi nel Tuo Quartiere is one of the most genuine events of the summer in Jesi, in the province of Ancona, in the Marche region. It's not a big festival with imposing stages and tickets to buy, but something rarer and more precious: a neighbourhood festival born from the grassroots, from the initiative of the Coppi-Giardini and San Francesco neighbourhood committees, who each year choose to transform the public spaces of their neighbourhood into a great meeting place.

Where and when

The event takes place in the public gardens of Viale Felice Cavallotti, one of the main green areas in the centre of Jesi and a beloved spot for the residents of the involved neighbourhoods. Here, among the tree-lined paths and lawns, an evening dedicated to socialising, the outdoors, and fun for all ages comes to life. The festival is part of the rich programme of Jesi Estate 2026, the summer schedule promoted by the Municipality of Jesi that enlivens the city for almost four months with almost daily events.

The spirit of the event

The title says it all: Incontrarsi e Divertirsi nel Tuo Quartiere (Meeting and Having Fun in Your Neighbourhood). The aim is to create opportunities for residents to gather, bringing people out of their homes and into the squares and gardens to rediscover that sense of community that is often lost in daily life.
