The witches' night in the village of Triora
The Halloween Festival in Triora has a very special charm: the village in the upper Argentina valley (province of Imperia) is indeed known worldwide as "the village of witches", due to the famous 1587 witchcraft trial. An identity that makes Triora the ideal setting for the most magical and mysterious night of the year.
The medieval historic center comes alive with magic potions, theatrical performances, medieval dances, workshops for children, and scary stories told in the alleyways. A program designed to engage all ages, with thrilling atmospheres and fun, in perfect harmony with the village's history.
Included in Triora's autumn calendar, the Halloween Festival is one of the events that animate the village out of season, enhancing its historical and legendary heritage. An opportunity to discover the alleys, the witch museum, and the unique aura of one of Liguria's most fascinating villages, nestled in the nature of the Ligurian Alps.
For 2026, the Halloween Festival is confirmed in Triora's autumn calendar, according to tradition placing it around October 31st.
