The Festa dell'Oratorio di Sale is one of the most cherished summer events in the hamlet of Sale, in the Municipality of Gussago, province of Brescia. For a week, the Oratorio di Sale, on Via Galli, becomes the beating heart of the community, with a festival designed for all ages, from families to the youngest.
Food, games, and music
Every evening the food stand opens, serving traditional Brescian dishes by the oratory's volunteers. For children, there are inflatables, while on Friday and Saturday evenings the festival comes alive with live music. A simple program but capable of attracting people from Sale and the surrounding areas every evening, in an atmosphere of joy and sharing.
The spirit of the oratory
Like many oratory festivals in the Brescian area, the Sale festival is also born from the voluntary work of a community that gets involved to spend time together and support the activities of the oratory itself. It is a village festival in the most authentic sense: unpretentious, with great participation, and that sense of belonging that is still strongly felt in Gussago and its hamlets.
