The world's most beautiful race arrives in Valtrompia
In 2026, the legendary 1000 Miglia will touch Valtrompia and Valgobbia for the first time, with Lumezzane, in the province of Brescia, becoming its beating heart as the first official lunch stop of the race. A historic event for the town, which thus links itself to the myth of the "world's most beautiful race", the famous regularity race for historic cars that travels across Italy from Brescia.
Around the passage of the cars, Lumezzane is organizing a rich, widespread program: a photographic exhibition at the Torre Avogadro, concerts โ including the symphonic "Sinfonia in Rosso" and DJ sets at the Piazzale delle Piscine โ musical performances like the Coritage Sax Quartet, a parade of historic cars through the town streets, and band concerts. The highlight is the official arrival of the cars at the Saleri Stadium.
The arrival of the 1000 Miglia in Lumezzane is not just a sporting event, but a great community celebration that showcases the town and its traditions. Among the special attractions is the "Winter Games Express", described as the longest chocolate train in the world, created by master pastry chefs from Bergamo and Brescia. A unique opportunity to experience the charm of vintage cars and the warmth of a region that is welcoming one of Italy's most iconic races for the first time.
The 2026 edition marks the historic debut of the 1000 Miglia in Lumezzane and Valtrompia. From June 5th to 9th, the town experiences five days of events centered around the race's passage, for which it is the first official lunch stop, with a program that blends engines, music, and culture.
