The most beloved festival in Franciacorta

In the heart of Franciacorta, the village of Monticelli Brusati, in the Province of Brescia, hosts its Festa di Monticelli every year: a whole week of celebration, friendship, good food, and fun for all ages. Now in its twenty-fifth edition, it is the event that brings together the entire community of the town, amidst the vineyard-covered hills that have made Franciacorta famous.

Seven days of food and shows

Every evening, the food stalls are open with local specialties, accompanied by music and shows. The evenings offer concerts, tombola (bingo), and entertainment, while for children and families there are traditional games, a charity raffle, and initiatives like "Monticelli Comics". Concluding the week is the grand final lottery with rich prizes.

Sports and tournaments for everyone

Alongside the gastronomy, the festival offers a packed sports program: football tournaments, mini-volleyball, archery, the fun human foosball, a running race, and games between the town's neighborhoods. A dimension that involves young and old alike, strengthening the community spirit that animates the event.

A festival of volunteerism

The Festa di Monticelli is made possible by the volunteers of the parishes of Saints Simone and Giuda and St. John the Evangelist, by the Festa Committee, and by all the people who enthusiastically collaborate each year. More than a sagra (local festival), it is the expression of a town that makes participation and solidarity its founding values, in one of the most fascinating areas of Lombardy's wine region.
