Barcis is one of the most photographed villages in Friuli, nestled on the shores of an emerald-water lake, in the heart of Valcellina and at the foot of the Friulian Dolomites. When autumn arrives and the woods turn red and gold, the village celebrates the season with the Festa d'Autunno, a day of celebration organised by the Pro Loco of Barcis.

Markets, flavours, and entertainment

The programme includes markets with typical products and handicrafts, a food area with seasonal specialities, and plenty of entertainment for the little ones, including juggling and magic shows. A family-friendly festival designed to enjoy an autumn Sunday outdoors in a natural setting of rare beauty.

The village festival

Promoted by Pro Loco Barcis, the Festa d'Autunno is a moment of community life that closes the tourist season and invites residents and visitors to rediscover the village and its flavours. An opportunity to stroll along the lake, breathe the mountain air, and experience the authentic atmosphere of a small valley village.

In the heart of Valcellina

Barcis is the gateway to Valcellina and the Forra del Cellina, one of the most spectacular natural areas in Friuli. The Festa d'Autunno thus also becomes an opportunity to discover a territory made of water, woods, and mountains, far from the main tourist crowds.
