The Ferragosto Concert and Fireworks is the most anticipated summer event in Cavedago, a picturesque village overlooking the Paganella Plateau in the Province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). On the evening of August 14th, the eve of Ferragosto, the central Piazza San Lorenzo becomes the heart of the festivities: a live concert kicks off the night, followed by a breathtaking fireworks show that lights up the sky above the Brenta Dolomites.

Live Music and Tribute Bands

Each edition features a different musical act, often a tribute band dedicated to international music legends. Recent years have seen the square host tributes to rock and pop icons: in 2024, the stage featured a Queen tribute, while in 2025, the band Back to the Stars performed the greatest hits of Coldplay. The concert, which typically starts at 9:30 PM, attracts families, young people, and vacationers alike, creating a vibrant atmosphere that brings the whole village to life.

Fireworks Beneath the Dolomites

The highlight of the evening arrives after the concert: the Ferragosto fireworks, which illuminate the plateau’s sky, framing the peaks of the Brenta Group in a dazzling display of light and color. It is a grand finale that earns a round of applause from the crowd every year, perfectly closing the festive evening.

Organized by Visit Paganella in collaboration with the Cavedago Vacanze association, the event is free to attend and is part of the extensive summer calendar on the Paganella Plateau, a popular mountain destination in the Trentino Dolomites.
