Feast of Our Lady of Consolation

The 2026 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of Consolation renews the tradition that each year brings the people of Todi together around the Temple of Saint Mary of Consolation. The days, between September 5th and 8th, alternate the triduum of prayer, the solemn masses of September 8th presided over by the Bishop, the concerts of the Sacred Music Festival, the market fair along the streets of the center, and cultural and recreational moments for all ages. At dusk on September 8th, the fireworks display concludes the feast.

The detailed program for the 2026 edition is being published by ETAB La Consolazione and the Municipality of Todi. Based on tradition, the days include:

Religious Celebrations

• Triduum of prayer in the days preceding September 8th
• Solemn masses of September 8th, with the afternoon mass presided over by the Bishop

Sacred Music Festival

• Choral and organ music concerts at the Temple and churches in the center, with free admission and charitable fundraising

Civil and Cultural Initiatives

• Traditional market fair along the streets of the center
• Renaissance games for families organized by the Medieval Company of Todi
• Final fireworks display

How to get there

Todi is reachable by car from the E45 (Todi exit). The Temple of Saint Mary of Consolation is located just outside the walls, along the road leading up to the historic center, where the celebrations and the fair take place.

Admission

Religious celebrations and concerts of the Sacred Music Festival are free admission, often with fundraising for charitable purposes.
