Young Cinema in Sesto

The Falck Festival (Enrico Falck Festival) is the film festival that stars students from the Enrico Falck Professional Institute in Sesto San Giovanni, in the province of Milan. Born as a PCTO (Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation) project for the Cultural Services and Entertainment program, it takes place at the Rondinella Cinema and focuses on young people as creators, performers, and organizers.

Short Films, Masterclasses, and Contests

The heart of the festival is the original short films and audiovisual works created by students as part of their training programs, combining technical skills, creativity, and critical interpretation of the present. A distinctive element is a video-reel contest where students tackle themes such as environmental protection, recycling, eco-sustainability, and the redevelopment of public spaces. The program also includes masterclasses, featuring in-depth sessions on the use of artificial intelligence in cinema.

School, Community, and Professionals

The Falck Festival is an important event where the school opens its doors to the community of Sesto San Giovanni and engages with film professionals. Over a thousand students are involved as judges and organizers, in an educational experience that highlights young talent and introduces them to the world of audiovisuals, culminating in an awards ceremony.
