About forty local producers

Around 40 producers participate in the market, largely from the South Milan Agricultural Park, who take turns on a rotating basis. Among the stalls, you'll find Slow Food Presidia and products from the Taste Workshops: fruit and vegetables, milk and cheese, eggs, honey, rice, bread, cured meats, meat, preserves, flours, and baked goods, wine, beer, and oil.

The value of the Earth Market lies not only in the products but also in the encounter: you can talk directly with the producers, ask how they raise their animals or grow their land, and understand the origin of what you bring to your table. It is also an educational moment, designed to introduce new generations to the issues of environmental sustainability and biodiversity.

The market is made possible by the Food Policy of the Municipality of Milan, together with Slow Food and the South Milan Agricultural Park, in a project that intertwines the protection of peri-urban agriculture, food education, and social interaction. For the city, it is a concrete way to re-establish the link between the urban center and the surrounding countryside.
