The gold of the "prati stabili"
The Fair of Grana Padano of the Prati Stabili is the flagship event of Goito, a municipality in the province of Mantua. It celebrates Grana Padano DOP produced with milk from cows fed with hay from the "prati stabili" of the Mincio Valley: meadows never ploughed, cultivated without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, an expression of sustainable agriculture and a deep connection with the territory.
Three days of celebration
Every year, on the third weekend of October, the streets and the exhibition area of Goito come alive for three days of celebrations. The fair hosts consortium dairies, with their stands and tastings, as well as over ten thousand square meters of exhibition space. Numerous cultural events, educational activities dedicated to nutrition, and musical entertainment moments are featured.
A territorial celebration
With over twenty thousand visitors expected at each edition, the Fair of Grana Padano of the Prati Stabili is much more than a food festival: it is a great identity celebration that enhances Mantua's dairy excellence and tells the story of an environmentally friendly production method. Organized by the Goito Get Up Association, it has become a reference event for lovers of good food and for those who want to discover the history of Grana Padano from the Mincio Valley up close.

In 2026, Goito will host the 28th edition of the Fair of Grana Padano of the Prati Stabili, scheduled as tradition dictates for the third weekend of October. Three days of celebrations dedicated to the DOP cheese produced with hay from the "prati stabili" of the Mincio Valley.
The fair features consortium dairies with stands and tastings, as well as a rich program of educational activities, cultural events, and musical entertainment. The precise dates and detailed program will be published on the official website closer to the event.
