About Autumn Festival

With the Autumn Festival, Sigurtà Garden Park in Valeggio sul Mincio celebrates foliage, the natural phenomenon that sets the trees ablaze in red, gold, ochre, and orange. Over 500 Japanese maples, ginkgo biloba, ancient oaks, metasequoias, and liquidambars create an extraordinary setting for walks, trekking, and photography. A season rich in initiatives, from Artist Saturdays to Children's Day.

Foliage at Sigurtà Park

When summer gives way to the first chills, the Sigurtà Garden Park in Valeggio sul Mincio, in the province of Verona, dresses in the warm colours of autumn. The Autumn Festival celebrates foliage, the phenomenon by which the park's trees light up in a thousand shades: red, gold, ochre, and orange.

An extraordinary botanical heritage

The park boasts over 500 Japanese maples, along with ginkgo biloba, ancient oaks, crape myrtles, metasequoias, and liquidambars. It is the ideal setting for nature trekking, landscape photography, gardening, and outdoor walks across the garden's 60 hectares.

Events and initiatives

The festival accompanies the entire autumn season with dedicated events: the Autumn Artist Saturdays, reserved for painters, illustrators, and creatives who interpret the garden's beauty live, and the Autumn Children's Day, with shows and entertainment for families. The Autumn Festival ideally closes the park's season, among the most awarded in Italy and Europe, in the heart of the morainic hills of the Mincio, a short walk from Lake Garda.

Autumn Festival — edition 2026

The 2026 Autumn Festival kicks off on September 21 and accompanies the entire autumn season of Sigurtà Garden Park until its closure on November 15. Foliage, Artist Saturdays, and Children's Day mark the weeks dedicated to the garden's warm colours.

The 2026 edition of the Autumn Festival begins on September 21 and continues until the park's seasonal closure on November 15. The star is the foliage of over 500 Japanese maples, ginkgo biloba, oaks, metasequoias, and liquidambars.

The season is enriched by Autumn Artist Saturdays and Autumn Children's Day, with shows and entertainment for families.
