Music, DJ sets, aperitifs, and stand-up comedy on the Lungomare dei Navigatori Etruschi in Cerveteri
Etruria Village is the festival that lights up the summer on the Lungomare dei Navigatori Etruschi, along the Campo di Mare coastline in Cerveteri (Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, Lazio). Throughout July, the promenade transforms into an open-air village featuring music, DJ sets, sunset aperitifs, food areas, and stand-up comedy shows, all with free entry just a stone's throw from the beach.
Etruria Village was born as a lighter, more widespread offshoot of the historic Etruria Eco Festival, founded in 2007 by a group of local youths dedicated to culture and the environment. While the Eco Festival brought major names in Italian music to the evocative Parco della Legnara in the historic center of Cerveteri for years, the Village format shifts the focus to the social atmosphere of the seafront: widespread events, relaxed rhythms, and a crowd of families and young people enjoying the sea even at night.
The program alternates between musical events and comedy. Evenings range from vintage parties with special guests and DJ sets to sunset and soul sessions, accompanying the audience from aperitif time until late at night with selections from music designers and disc jockeys. The comedic heart of the festival is Risate sul Mare, the Wednesday night comedy series bringing popular television and club comedians to the seafront stage.
The free entry policy and the seaside setting make Etruria Village an event suitable for all ages: some come for the aperitifs and music, others to laugh at the comedy shows, and some simply for an evening stroll along the promenade. The food area completes the experience with refreshment points and gastronomic offerings, while the environmental spirit inherited from the Etruria Eco Festival remains one of the festival's defining traits.
Visiting Etruria Village is also the perfect opportunity to discover Cerveteri, the ancient Etruscan city of Caere, famous for the Banditaccia Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From evenings on the seafront to the archaeological heritage of the historic center, the Cerveteri area offers a holiday that combines sea, culture, and entertainment in the heart of the coast north of Rome.
The 2026 edition inaugurates the Etruria Village format on the Lungomare dei Navigatori Etruschi in Campo di Mare, Cerveteri. The program alternates between musical evenings on the weekend and comedy during the week, all with free entry.
The festival kicks off with a Vintage Party featuring special guests and DJ sets, continues with the Sunset and Soul formula accompanying the audience from aperitif time until late at night, and is enriched every week with the comedy of Risate sul Mare.
