The Eternal City Moto Show is the event that, in just a few years, has transformed Rome into one of Italy's hubs for motorcycle culture. Born in 2017 as a pioneering exhibition dedicated to the custom scene, it has evolved into a comprehensive event that brings together major manufacturers, custom builders, designers, technical apparel brands, safe-riding training, and a packed schedule of entertainment. It takes place in the Municipality of Rome, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, in the heart of the Lazio region, at the end of September.

An itinerant history through Rome's iconic landmarks

The event started at Atlantico Live before moving through some of the city's most distinctive spaces: Ex Dogana, Ragusa Off, and Cinecittà World, before finding a home at EUR for four editions, first at the Palazzo dei Congressi and then at the Nuvola di Fuksas. Each move has coincided with growth in both attendance and exhibition space, culminating in the record-breaking numbers of the 2025 edition: over 30,000 visitors, 350 exhibitors, and more than 7,500 test rides.

The tenth anniversary at the Gazometro

For its tenth edition, the event changes scenery once again, arriving at the Gazometro Eni in Rome Ostiense, in the heart of the capital's innovation district. It is a choice rooted in identity: the district's industrial archaeology, with its iron structure that has become a symbol of the city's energy history, offers a perfect backdrop for an event that celebrates mechanics, metal, and passion. The 120,000-square-meter area allows for a three-day format for the first time, from Friday to Sunday, with a clear separation between indoor spaces and large outdoor areas.

What to find at the show

• Manufacturer exhibits: leading motorcycle brands present their latest ranges, often with national premieres.
• Custom and builders: the event's original soul, featuring Italian and international custom workshops and contests awarding the best bikes.
• Demo rides: one of the largest test-ride fleets in Italy, with hundreds of motorcycles available for road testing.
• Accessories and apparel: helmets, technical gear, spare parts, motorcycle fashion, and shopping.
• Training and safety: safe-riding courses, airbag system demonstrations, and paths dedicated to female riders.
• Talks and culture: meetings with industry leaders, insights into motorcycle tourism, and the new frontiers of sustainable mobility.
• Entertainment: live music, DJ sets, performances, street food, and artistic shows until late at night.

An audience that goes beyond motorcyclists

While remaining an industry event, the Eternal City Moto Show has successfully built an urban festival atmosphere: the formula combining bikes, music, art, and street food also attracts those who do not own a motorcycle. Families will find workshops dedicated to children, while enthusiasts arrive from all over Central Italy and, increasingly, from abroad, thanks to the mild late-September weather in Rome.

Rome Ostiense, a neighborhood to discover

The new venue allows visitors to combine the show with the discovery of one of the capital's most vibrant neighborhoods. A short walk away are the Centrale Montemartini, the Mercati Generali, the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, and the culinary scene of Testaccio: an ideal setting to turn a day at the fair into a complete Roman weekend.
