Antiques, vintage treasures, and the flavors of the Asti Monferrato on Easter Monday
The Easter Monday Market is a highly anticipated tradition in Berzano di San Pietro, a tiny village in the Province of Asti perched at 424 meters in the hills of the Asti Monferrato, in Piedmont. Every year, on Easter Monday, the village comes alive for a day entirely dedicated to antiques, second-hand finds, and the flavors of the Piedmontese countryside.
The event blends two complementary themes: a vintage and antique trade market featuring old objects and collectibles, and a fair showcasing local agricultural and artisanal products. Strolling between the Town Hall Square and the village streets, you can discover:
It is this unique mix of curiosity and authenticity that makes the Easter Monday Market one of the most characteristic events in the spring calendar of the Asti region.
Unlike large city markets, the atmosphere here remains intimate and familiar, typical of a small hillside village. The event is organized by the Municipality of Berzano di San Pietro and is held under the patronage of the Piedmont Region. For those looking for a different way to spend Easter Monday, away from the crowded tourist spots, it is the perfect opportunity to discover an authentic corner of Monferrato, combining a pleasant walk, vintage shopping, and delicious local food.
For Easter Monday 2026, on April 6, Berzano di San Pietro renewed its traditional appointment with the Easter Monday Market. From 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Town Hall Square and the town center hosted the vintage and antique trade market, alongside the fair of local agricultural and artisanal products.
The stalls offered the flavors of the region—cheeses, honey, and preserves from local producers—alongside craftsmanship and vintage collectibles. The event, promoted by the Municipality with the patronage of the Piedmont Region, confirmed its role as a spring staple for enthusiasts in the Asti area.
Open-air event with free admission, under the patronage of the Piedmont Region.
