The E. Deflorian Social Band Easter Concert is one of the most cherished musical events in Tesero, a village in the Val di Fiemme, in the province of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige. Every year, on Easter Sunday evening, the Tesero Municipal Theatre welcomes a large audience for the event that symbolically kicks off the band's concert season. The event is promoted by the band itself with the support of the Municipality of Tesero, CML Tesero, the Val di Fiemme Cembra Tourist Board, Cassa Rurale Val di Fiemme, and the Federation of Band Corps of the Province of Trento.

A historic band: since 1817

The "Erminio Deflorian" Social Band is one of the oldest and longest-running musical ensembles in Trentino, with origins dating back to 1817. It is named after Maestro Erminio Deflorian (1875-1963), who led it for over fifty years. Today, it boasts around 65-70 musicians, making it one of the largest bands in the region, and is currently conducted by Maestro Fabrizio Zanon. The band maintains an intense schedule of weekly rehearsals and numerous public performances, including concerts, parades, and civil and religious services throughout the year.

Thematic concerts and theatre combined

The hallmark of the Tesero Easter Concert is the construction of each evening around a central theme: from myths and legends to great works of literature, the musical program is selected to take the audience on a true journey.
