Music at Altitude on Monte Avena
Dolomiti Arena is the series of free concerts that brings author music to the most evocative locations in the Belluno Prealps and Dolomites. The stop in Fonzaso, a municipality in the province of Belluno, takes place at Malga Campon, on the slopes of Monte Avena, in a natural setting of great beauty overlooking the mountains.
Free Concerts in Nature
The formula of Dolomiti Arena is simple and successful: big names in Italian author music performing for free in spectacular mountain locations, reachable by walking paths or shuttle buses. The series combines music, nature, and local area enhancement, and in past editions it has attracted around 10,000 spectators in total, many of whom came from outside the province.
An Event of the Belluno Summer
The series is organised by Scoppio Spettacoli in collaboration with the Consorzio Dolomiti Prealpi and consists of several events spread across different locations in the province of Belluno between July and August. The Malga Campon stop, on Monte Avena in Fonzaso, is one of the most beloved for its natural setting and the unique atmosphere of the concert at altitude. An opportunity to experience the Belluno mountains in a new way, between landscape and great music.
Dolomiti Arena — edition 2026
The Fonzaso stop of Dolomiti Arena 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Malga Campon, on the slopes of Monte Avena. The star is singer-songwriter Francesca Michielin, originally from Bassano, who performs a few kilometres from home in a spectacular natural setting. The concert is free, like all events in the series, now in its sixth edition. Dolomiti Arena is organised by Scoppio Spettacoli in collaboration with the Consorzio Dolomiti Prealpi.

How to get there
Malga Campon is located on the slopes of Monte Avena, in the municipality of Fonzaso (Belluno), reachable from the SS50. It is advisable to follow the organisers' directions for parking and shuttle buses, and to bring clothing suitable for the mountains, even in summer.
