Dolmen Summer Fest in Bisceglie

The Dolmen Summer Fest is the summer concert series that has lit up the season in Bisceglie, a coastal city in the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, Puglia. Conceived and organized by the GS23 agency under the artistic direction of Lele Sgherza, the festival was born in 2025 as one of the flagship events of the first season at the Svevarena, the new performance venue on Via Ponte Lama.

A name tied to the city's identity

The festival owes its name to the dolmens, the unique prehistoric megalithic structures that characterize the Bisceglie area, most notably the famous Dolmen la Chianca. The idea, as explained by the artistic director, is to promote the city by linking its ancient identity to the great names of Italian music, capable of attracting a wide audience from across Puglia and beyond.

The venues: Svevarena and Arena del Mare

Concerts are primarily held at the Svevarena (Via Ponte Lama 9), a space that has been the heart of entertainment in the Northern Bari area for years and has now been relaunched as a major event arena. Some events are held at the Arena del Mare, a stunning setting overlooking the Adriatic. Both venues offer the classic open-air summer concert experience, under the stars, typical of July and August evenings in Puglia.

The artists

The inaugural edition featured some of the most compelling names on the contemporary Italian music scene: from singer-songwriters to indie-pop and the great masters of Italian music. The lineup was designed to unite different generations of spectators, with offerings ranging from indie-pop to rap.
