Deltablues is one of the most important blues and jazz festivals in Northern Italy: founded in 1988, it brings over forty concerts every summer to various municipalities in the Polesine region, in the province of Rovigo. Among the locations involved is Trecenta, which hosts a truly original event: the Blues Cruise on the Canalbianco, organized by Ente Rovigo Festival.
A musical cruise on the Canalbianco
The Blues Cruise is a river navigation on the Canalbianco with live music on board. The boat departs from Parco Vallalta in Bagnolo di Po and sails along the river, stopping in Trecenta, where passengers can visit the Gorghi di Trecenta, bodies of water fed by springs (the ancient springs of the Po River), in an area particularly rich in vegetation and of great naturalistic value.
Music, nature, and local flavors
The cruise concludes with an aperitif at the Agriturismo La Bisa, featuring local products from the Polesine region: a combination of music, nature, and gastronomy that tells the story of this water-rich land. The event is linked to the festival's opening concert, which features major names from the national and international blues and jazz scene.

The Trecenta stop of Deltablues 2026 takes place on June 6, 2026, the opening day of the 39th edition of the festival (scheduled from June 6 to July 11, 2026, with over 40 concerts in eight municipalities of the Polesine region: Rovigo, Adria, Rosolina, Porto Viro, Lendinara, Bagnolo di Po, San Martino di Venezze, and Trecenta). The Blues Cruise on the Canalbianco stops in Trecenta for a visit to the Gorghi.

Saturday, June 6, 2026 — Blues Cruise on the Canalbianco
- 4:00 PM — Departure of the musical cruise from Parco Vallalta in Bagnolo di Po, with live music on board (approximately one hour of navigation)
- Stop in Trecenta with a visit to the Gorghi di Trecenta, spring-fed bodies of water surrounded by vegetation
- Aperitif at the Agriturismo La Bisa with local products from the Polesine region
- 8:00 PM — Festival opening concert (free admission), featuring the presentation of a new album scheduled for the opening night

How to get there
Trecenta is located in the upper Polesine region, in the province of Rovigo, near the border with Emilia. The Blues Cruise departs from Parco Vallalta in Bagnolo di Po. By car, Trecenta is accessible via the SS482; the nearest train stations are in the Polesine region.
