Among the youngest and most original initiatives in the calendar of Arquà Polesine, in the province of Rovigo, is the Festa di Primavera in Cosplay. Started a few years ago and organised by the Pro Loco Arquà Polesine Aps, the event transforms the town into a meeting point for fans of cosplay, anime, manga, comics, and pop culture.
Cosplay competition and cartoon theme songs
The programme revolves around the cosplay competition, complete with a parade and awards for the best costumes, and the concert of cartoon theme songs, a truly nostalgic moment capable of uniting adults and children. Talk shows, themed shows, games, and entertainment complete the day.
Food, stalls, and community
In addition to the shows, there are also food stalls and stalls dedicated to the world of comics and collectibles. Programme for the 3rd edition (June 14, 2026). Based on previous editions, the typical structure includes:
- From 11:00 AM — "Guess the Theme Song" game
- 2:30 PM — Cosplay parade
- 5:00 PM — Cosplay competition with concert of cartoon theme songs
- 7:00 PM — Cosplay awards ceremony; opening of food stalls and market stalls
- 9:30 PM — Evening with live music
