Cultural Review Nostalgia del Passato — The costume of Isernia and its surroundings

A tribute to traditional costumes

The cultural review "Nostalgia del Passato" was born in Isernia, the capital of the homonymous province in Molise, with the aim of enhancing and preserving the historical-anthropological heritage of the territory. The first edition is dedicated to the theme "The costume of Isernia and its surroundings", rediscovering the traditional clothing and popular memories of the community.

Memory and identity

The event focuses on enhancing popular testimonies and traditional memories, through a journey that intertwines vintage clothing, stories, and intangible culture. The Voci e Tradizioni Association, promoter of the review, works for the preservation of local culture through workshops, meetings, and educational paths for young people.

A network of support

The review is held in the Cloister of Palazzo San Francesco, under the patronage of the Municipality of Isernia and in collaboration with numerous local partners: CSV Molise, Rotary Club of Isernia, Museo delle Collezioni Sasserra, Pro Loco Città di Isernia and E.I.P. Italia. An initiative that strengthens community cohesion and awareness of the value of Isernia's intangible heritage.
