Major names of international jazz at Auditorium Arvedi
CremonaJazz is the festival that, every spring, brings great international jazz to Cremona, in Lombardy. The concerts are held in the Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium, the concert hall of the Museo del Violino (Violin Museum), famous for its acoustics and its deep connection with the city's violin-making tradition. Promoted by Unomedia and the Museo del Violino, the event offers a program that blends established names and emerging personalities, with a constant focus on artistic quality.
Artists who have performed in the temples of world jazz take turns on the Arvedi stage: Grammy winners, internationally renowned singers, and leading instrumentalists. The concerts, held between April and June, offer a journey through the different facets of jazz – from vocal jazz to contemporary experimentation, from world premieres to special projects – always in an intimate and prestigious setting.
CremonaJazz also features a program of collateral activities, developed in collaboration with the "Nino Donzelli" Jazz Music Study Center of Cremona and the Café of the Museo del Violino. Among these are AperiJazz, informal gatherings that bring audiences closer to the festival's protagonists. It's a way to experience jazz not just as listening, but as a shared cultural experience.
For the Municipality of Cremona and the Province, CremonaJazz represents one of the most qualified musical events of the season, capable of attracting an enthusiastic audience to the city and enhancing the Auditorium Arvedi as a stage of international importance.
The eleventh edition of CremonaJazz brings seven concerts to the Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium of the Violin Museum between April 20 and June 4, 2026, all starting at 9:00 PM. The lineup alternates international stars and world premieres, with direction by Unomedia and the Museo del Violino.
It kicks off on April 20 with Amii Stewart and continues with Peter Erskine, Nicole Zuraitis, Veronica Swift, Olivia Trummer, Omar Sosa, and the Trilok Gurtu Special Project. To enrich the festival, AperiJazz and collateral activities with the "Nino Donzelli" Jazz Music Study Center are included.
Collateral activities: AperiJazz and meetings with the "Nino Donzelli" Jazz Music Study Center of Cremona.
