The most important world exhibition of artisanal musical instruments
Cremona Musica International Exhibitions & Festival is one of the most important events in the world for music professionals and lovers of artisanal instruments. Hosted at CremonaFiere, in the city of Cremonaโthe homeland of violin making and the Stradivari tradition, in Lombardyโthe exhibition brings together makers, distributors, musicians, and professionals from dozens of countries in a setting defined by artisanal quality.
The event is divided into several thematic sections, each dedicated to a family of instruments: Mondo Musica for strings and classical instruments, Piano Experience for pianos, Acoustic Guitar Village for acoustic guitars, Electric Sound Village for electric guitars and modern instruments, the Accordion Show for accordions, and the Cremona Band Festival for wind and band instruments. It's a journey that allows visitors to discover the diversity and richness of handcrafted instrument making.
Cremona Musica is also a major live festival: the program includes concerts, demonstrations, lutherie masterclasses, competitions such as the PianoLink International Amateurs Competition, the Cremona Musica Awards, and guided tours of the city's symbolic sites, starting with the Violin Museum. For acoustic guitar enthusiasts, the Acoustic Guitar Village hosts gatherings and meetings dedicated to bluegrass and acoustic blues.
For the Municipality of Cremona and the Province, the exhibition represents a high-profile international draw, bringing professionals and musicians from dozens of nations to the city each year, reinforcing Cremona's connection to its identity as the world capital of violin making.
