The April 25th festival on the banks of the Stella river, in Titiano
There are festivals that don't seek spectacle, but atmosphere. Lis Mirindutis is one of them: a country festival that lasts only one day, on April 25th, in Titiano, a small hamlet of Precenicco immersed in the green of the lower Friuli region. The location is one that stays with you: the ancient chapel of the Blessed Virgin of the Snow, built between the 13th and 15th centuries on a bend of the Stella river, with the water flowing slowly and the silence of the countryside all around.
The festival has ancient origins and is linked to the history of this corner of Friuli, also marked by the presence of the Teutonic Knights. For almost half a century, the community of Precenicco has gathered here to honor the chapel and come together outdoors, in an event that will reach its 47th edition in 2026.
The morning opens with mass in the chapel, accompanied by the traditional canoe descent along the Stella, from Precenicco to Titiano. The food stands offer local traditional cuisine: pork ribs and sausage and fartae cul salamp, omelets with salami. The Precenicco Youth Center entertains the little ones with games and creative workshops, while AVIS is present with an information point on blood donation.
Organized by the Pro Loco Precenicco with the collaboration of AVIS and the support of the Municipality of Precenicco, Lis Mirindutis is one of those authentic festivals that tell of the deep bond between a community, its river, and its timeless places. More than a local festival, it's a day trip into the Friulian spring.
As tradition dictates, Lis Mirindutis returns on April 25, 2026, to Titiano di Precenicco, for its 47th edition. The festival, confirmed by Pro Loco Precenicco, maintains its usual format: an outdoor day around the chapel of the Blessed Virgin of the Snow, on the banks of the Stella, combining faith, nature, and conviviality.
The day's program, based on recent editions, includes:
