The Beer and Wurstel Festival is one of the most beloved summer festivals in Costabissara, a municipality in the province of Vicenza, in Veneto. Organized by the Pro Loco Costabissara, the event brings the atmosphere of Bavarian festivals to the town: draft beer, wurstel, sauerkraut, and specialties of German tradition animate a large food stand for several consecutive days.
Music, gastronomy, and conviviality
Alongside the food and wine offerings, the festival features live music, dance evenings with bands and orchestras, and a market with stalls. The event takes place in the Palacosta area and represents a meeting point for families and young people, capable of uniting generations in the convivial spirit typical of Veneto village festivals.

Now in its 46th edition in 2026, the Beer and Wurstel Festival testifies to the Pro Loco's deep roots in the social fabric of Costabissara. Between a beer and a plate of wurstel, the festival is also an opportunity to discover a village in the Vicenza area often off the beaten track for mass tourism.
Beer and Wurstel Festival — edition 2026
The 46th edition of the Beer and Wurstel Festival of Costabissara returns from June 17 to 21, 2026, organized by the Pro Loco. For several consecutive evenings, Palacosta comes alive with the Bavarian-style food stand — beer, wurstel, and sauerkraut — accompanied by live music and a market. Among the new features of this edition is the 3rd Fiat 500 Rally for new and vintage cars, scheduled for Sunday, June 21.
